Spouse meeting astrology is the part everyone wants to know and almost no one explains properly. In our earlier blogs we covered spouse profession, spouse appearance and spouse nature.
One major thing was left, and it is the most important one: how and where you will actually meet your spouse.
Before we start, one honest point. In astrology, no single technique works on every chart. A technique can work on 90 charts and then fail on the 91st.
That is why we never predict with just one method. In this blog we use multiple techniques together, and when they point in the same direction, your picture becomes much clearer.
By the end you will know three things: the place where you meet your spouse, the circumstances of the meeting, and the time when it is most likely to happen.
What You Need to Note Down First?
Before reading further, write down these three things from your birth chart:
- Your Darakaraka planet and the house and sign it sits in
- Your 7th lord and the house it sits in
- Venus and the house it sits in
That is all you need. Let’s start.
Step 1: Check Your Darakaraka (Pre-Marriage Phase)
Darakaraka is the planet that represents your spouse and the pre-marriage phase of life. To find it, take the planet with the lowest degree in your chart (from Sun to Saturn, ignoring the sign). That planet is your Darakaraka.
Once you have it, note two things: which planet it is, and which house and sign it sits in. The planet tells you the nature of the person and the phase you will be in when you meet. Here are the traits:
- Sun: confident, proud, authoritative and leader-like. The person you attract has status, a strong personality and some ego.
- Moon: emotional, sensitive, caring and moody. The connection starts with feelings and emotional bonding.
- Mars: energetic, passionate, bold and impulsive. Things move fast, and the person is often sporty, aggressive or very direct.
- Mercury: intelligent, witty, talkative and youthful. You meet through conversation, studies, friends or communication.
- Jupiter: wise, ethical, mature and teacher-like. The person is family-oriented, knowledgeable and values-driven.
- Venus: romantic, attractive, artistic and pleasure-loving. Charm and chemistry lead the way.
- Saturn: serious, disciplined, slow and mature. The meeting can come late, but the bond is stable and lasting.
Step 2: Check the 7th From Your 7th Lord (Where You Will Meet Your Spouse)
This is the most accurate way to check where you will meet your spouse. Find your 7th lord and see which house it sits in. Then count 7 houses from that house. That house shows the place and circumstances of your meeting.
Example: if your 7th lord sits in the 3rd house, count 7 houses from the 3rd. That gives the 9th house. The 9th house shows long-distance travel, temples and higher education, so you are likely to meet your spouse in these places or situations.
Step 3: Check the 7th From Venus (Second Confirmation)
Venus is the natural karaka of marriage and relationships. Do the same thing here. Find the house where Venus sits and count 7 houses from it.
The house, the zodiac sign, and the planets sitting in that house give you the second confirmation of where and how you meet your spouse.
When the 7th from the 7th lord and the 7th from Venus point to similar themes, the prediction is much stronger.
Where Will I Meet My Spouse Astrology?

Use this table for both your 7th lord and Venus. Find the house where the planet sits, then read the meeting house and what it shows.
| Planet sits in | 7th from it | Where and how you meet |
|---|---|---|
| 1st house | 7th house | Through partnerships, mutual friends, clients, or in a public place |
| 2nd house | 8th house | Suddenly, in unexpected or hidden circumstances, or after a crisis or breakup |
| 3rd house | 9th house | Long-distance travel, temples, university, or through a teacher |
| 4th house | 10th house | At work, through your career, or through a boss or colleague |
| 5th house | 11th house | Through friends, social circles, communities or online groups |
| 6th house | 12th house | In foreign lands, far away from home, hospitals, retreats or late-night online chats |
| 7th house | 1st house | Through your own effort, self-initiated meeting, or a personal introduction |
| 8th house | 2nd house | Through family, relatives or family functions |
| 9th house | 3rd house | Through neighbours, siblings, short trips, courses or social media |
| 10th house | 4th house | Near home, hometown, or through your mother or family circle |
| 11th house | 5th house | College, romance, parties, creative or entertainment spaces |
| 12th house | 6th house | Workplace, daily routine, gym, service jobs, or competitive exams |
The planets sitting in the meeting house, and the sign, add more detail to the circumstances. A malefic there can mean a complicated or delayed start, while a benefic makes it smooth and natural.
House or Sign | Which One Matters More?
For the place and circumstances of your meeting, the house matters. The house decides where and how you meet.
The sign decides when, because the Sun transit works through signs, and it also adds some flavor to the circumstances. So use the house for the place and the sign for the month.
Spouse Meeting Time Astrology | The Sun Transit Method

Now you know the place and the circumstances. The next question is the time. The simplest method is to use the Sun.
The Sun transits all 12 zodiac signs once every year, staying about one month in each sign. When the Sun transits a sign, it activates that sign for the whole month. So pick these three signs from your chart:
- The sign of your Darakaraka
- The sign of the 7th from Venus
- The sign of the 7th from your 7th lord
Then check when the Sun transits those signs. For example, the Sun transits Libra from mid October to mid November.
If your Darakaraka is in Libra, the chances are very high that you will meet someone in that month. The same technique works for the 7th from Venus and the 7th from the 7th lord.
What If the Three Signs Point to Different Months?
This is common, and the answer is simple. Follow this priority:
- First, pick the month when the Sun transits your Darakaraka sign.
- Second, pick the month when the Sun transits the sign of the 7th from Venus.
- Third, pick the month when the Sun transits the sign of the 7th from your 7th lord.
The Darakaraka month is the strongest. If the dasha supports it, that is where you should look first. The other two months are your backup windows.
Sun Transit Table (Sidereal, Approximate Dates)
| Sun in sign | Approximate dates every year |
|---|---|
| Aries | Mid April to mid May |
| Taurus | Mid May to mid June |
| Gemini | Mid June to mid July |
| Cancer | Mid July to mid August |
| Leo | Mid August to mid September |
| Virgo | Mid September to mid October |
| Libra | Mid October to mid November |
| Scorpio | Mid November to mid December |
| Sagittarius | Mid December to mid January |
| Capricorn | Mid January to mid February |
| Aquarius | Mid February to mid March |
| Pisces | Mid March to mid April |
Dates can shift by a day or two from year to year, so treat them as a window and not an exact date.
Always remember that dasha and transit still matter. The Sun transit tells you the likely month, but the running dasha and the major transits decide whether the event really happens. So check them too.
Spouse Meeting Circumstances Astrology | Putting It All Together

Here is the short version:
- Darakaraka shows your pre-marriage phase and the nature of the person. Its sign is the first priority for timing.
- 7th from Venus gives the second sign for timing and the second confirmation of the place.
- 7th from the 7th lord shows the place and the circumstances of the meeting. Its sign is the third priority for timing.
- The house decides the place and the circumstances. The sign decides the month through the Sun transit.
- Dasha and transit confirm the timing.
It may feel confusing the first time you read these techniques, and that is completely fine. The comment section is open, so you can ask your doubts there.
Live Consultation Stories Regarding Spouse Meeting Time Astrology
Story 1: Moon Darakaraka in Scorpio
A boy came to me with Moon as his Darakaraka in Scorpio. His question was simple: when will I come into a relationship and meet someone? I told him to look at the month when the Sun transits Scorpio, which is mid November to mid December.
That is exactly what happened. He came into a relationship on 2 December, because the Sun goes into Scorpio in mid November and stays there until mid December.
Story 2: 7th Lord in the 3rd House
A girl had her 7th lord in the 3rd house, and her concern was where and when she would meet her spouse. She was a Gemini ascendant, so her 7th lord was Jupiter, and she was running the Jupiter antardasha at that time.
The 7th from the 3rd house is the 9th house. I told her she would meet someone while travelling to a long-distance place, in temples, in a university, or through a teacher.
She met a boy in her university through her teacher, who added them to the same group for a project. They are now getting married this year.
The dasha supported the meeting, because the antardasha lord was her own 7th lord. This is how astrology works when it is done the right way.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Meeting Spouse Astrology
Below are the answers to the most asked queries on the internet regarding where will I meet my spouse astrology.
How will I meet my spouse astrology?
Check three things in your chart: your Darakaraka, the 7th from your 7th lord, and the 7th from Venus. The Darakaraka shows the nature of the person and your pre-marriage phase. The 7th from the 7th lord and the 7th from Venus show the place and the circumstances of the meeting.
Which planet is responsible for spouse?
Venus is the main natural karaka of marriage and relationships, and the 7th lord rules the 7th house of marriage. In Jaimini astrology, the Darakaraka, which is the planet with the lowest degree in the chart, is the planet that represents the spouse specifically. So three things work together: Venus, the 7th lord and the Darakaraka. No single planet gives the full picture, so check all three.
Where will I meet my spouse astrology?
Find the house where your 7th lord sits and count 7 houses from it. Do the same for Venus. The house you land on shows the place, such as workplace, university, temple, family gathering, foreign land or friend circle. For example, the 7th from the 3rd house is the 9th house, which shows travel, temples and universities.
